Prospect Kids
Prospect Kids is the Children's Ministry of Prospect United Methodist Church. Karen and I are the Children's Pastor at PUMC. Click the logo to go to our Twitter page to see what is going on there.

We are having a blast in this ministry. Our focus is on teaching the kids what worship is and how to do it. Our goal is to get them ready for "big church".  All-to-often our kids have so much "fun" in children's church that they are not ready for the type of environement of the adult worhsip service. Therefore, they get bored and do not want to go to church.

Our goal at Prospect Kdis is to change that. We do a  kid-freindly worship service that has all the elements of an adult service. This includes having the kids learn how to minister to each other through prayer, experience praise and worship as God leads them (no choreographed hand motions), etc.

If you're ever in the area, come look us u p.
